I just listened to the Intro to Yoga show and it was very informational! Speaking as a novice who has just attended one Yoga class with friends I was very intimidated by the fact that everyone in the room knew what they were doing and I felt like an idiot struggling to keep up. In retrospect the class was probably a bit more advanced than I was ready for and I do not believe my instructor was as nurturing to the newbies as he could be. After listening to the show I feel a bit more at ease and open to trying it again and being clear with where I am at and choosing to be comfortable with it.
Rina was very informative on the background of Yoga and I appreciate how she made it more accessible to a novice like myself. Thank you!
